Any college-bound Pennsylvania high school senior planning to attend a Pennsylvania college, university, or career school full time is eligible for the scholarship, and applications must be postmarked by Friday, April 30.
Two scholarships will be awarded later this spring in memory of late Speakers Matthew J. Ryan, Speaker of the House from 1981-1982 and 1995-2003, and James J. Manderino, who served as Speaker in 1989.
The scholarship foundation is independently administered by the Greater Harrisburg Foundation and is the first of its kind ever established by the House.
